Born in Edenton NC Raised in Chesapeake Va, Currently a resident of Norfolk Va, Makia Downing is Music's next big star with soulfull power house vocals and an undeniable look, she will definitely take the music industry by storm. Her sultry vocals, incredible range, and pop appeal has already worked with industry veterans such as Quincy Patrick, CEO Qwilite Entertainment best known as Hit Song writer and platinum producer for Grammy Award Winners, Alicia Keys, Babyface, Usher, Luther Vandross and many others. Track Masters Producer ACE 21 (The Game, Jamie Foxx , T-Pain,Lil Kim) co wrote Makia's first song "Hammer" with Mike Ernest. Dark Child producer Osinachi Nwaneri who produced for (The Black Eyed Peas, Ciara, Pussy Cat Dolls, Biz Markie....) also produced Makia's first smash hit song "Hammer" followed by "I want him". Grammy award winning producer Brian Denaul aka B-Nasty was blown away by one of Makia's recent open mic performances in Va.Beach and eagerly submitted 15 tracks to the project in hopes of landing another smash hit to his collection with a rising star.
