I
Common dropped by the Funkmaster Flex Show to promote his T.V. show on AMC, Hell On Wheels starting this November 6. While there Common gave us a quick Freestyle in acapella, and I gotta say... he still got it. Common's upcoming ninth album The Dreamer, The Believer is said to be out in this December.
And like the sample says: "I just can't wait to get it on!"
thanks MssInfo.

Jay-Z is the latest hip-hop head to add his swag to Cartoon Network.
Salon.com reports that Hov headlined the Adult Swim upfronts this year at New York City's Roseland Ballroom. Jay did an hourlong set for the crowd gathered at the concert hall, eager to see what Adult Swim, which operates as part of Cartoon Network, has on tap for the year ahead.
While Adult Swim is known for pulling amazing acts for its events, this show comes along with some strings attached.
According to TheLoop21.com, Hov will soon announce a development deal with the network. Under the agreement, he'll reportedly produce an animated series for Adult Swim, which caters to older viewers.
It's not clear what the show would be about, but this deal places Hov in good company. In 2006, André 3000 of Outkast launched a kid's show titled "Class of 3000," which ran for two season. In 2010, T-Pain voiced the lead character for the Adult Swim movie Freaknik.

While flattered by the honor, she doesn’t feel entitled. “I’m honored because I obviously have been working hard to get to this place,” she continued. “Whether or not I’m the queen of anything, everybody’s gonna have their own opinion and I don’t do this thinking I’m the queen of this, I’m the queen of that. I just feel like I’m working hard and I just want people to recognize that.”

Nicki Minaj Reacts to ‘Queen of Hip-Hop’ Title ON “Funk Flex Full Throttle”
Earlier this year, Rolling Stone dubbed Nicki Minaj the “New Queen of Hip-Hop.”
The “Super Bass” rapper speaks to Funkmaster Flex for MTV2’s “Funk Flex Full Throttle” about being bestowed with the crown from the long-running music magazine.
“It was very, very amazing to me,” shared a humbled Nicki, who didn’t know in advance. “I was so excited ’cause they’re really respected, and then when I went on all the TV shows, they kept on saying, ‘She’s been dubbed the New Queen of Hip-Hop by Rolling Stone magazine,’ so I was like, that happened at the perfect time.”While flattered by the honor, she doesn’t feel entitled. “I’m honored because I obviously have been working hard to get to this place,” she continued. “Whether or not I’m the queen of anything, everybody’s gonna have their own opinion and I don’t do this thinking I’m the queen of this, I’m the queen of that. Kanye West Signs Hit Boy To G.O.O.D Music

Kanye West has added another artist to the G.O.O.D Music roster, but this time it is the producer “Hit Boy”. The 23 year old who was born in California sat down to answer some questions about the signing. Hit the jump to read the rest of the story.
@wilmajor
Much like fellow G.O.O.D Music signees CyHi The Prynce and Big Sean, the newest addition to the team made an instant impression on Kanye West. Fontana, Calilfornia born producer Hit-Boy is the first beatsmith to sign with the expanding label. Churning out Ye’s official holiday tune “Christmas In Harlem” in late 2010, the 23-year-old has taken his relationship with Chi-town’s musical genius to the next frontier. VIBE courted the young maestro for the story behind his entranance to hip-hop’s all-star team.
VIBE.com: You finally signed to G.O.O.D Music, huh [Laughs]?
Hit-Boy: Yeah, man it’s definitely official. We’ve got a lot of things going with Kanye West right now. Just be on the lookout. I’m a part of the production team, so I’ll be working on various projects over there, pretty much everybody from Cudi to ‘Ye to Big Sean—everybody.
Was this something that was in the works for a while?
Yeah, it actually has been. It’s been in the works for three months, since “Christmas in Harlem.” We just had to get the business right and it finally came together. I signed a couple of weeks ago.
What were your first thoughts when ‘Ye officially asked you to come join the team and roll with him?
It was a dream come true. It’s Kanye West! It’s crazy. It ain’t really hit me until I actually had went to work. We worked side by side—making beats together and coming up with ideas —with the beats I was making and the beats that I already had. He’s a person I had said I admire so much.
Pusha talked about having more access to artists and producers after signing with G.O.O.D Music, do you feel the same way?
Well, I already built a name for myself and my brand Surf Club and I just feel like with this situation, the sky is the limit really. I can go beyond. These dudes, they don’t really mess with too many people and for them to embrace me and accept me the way that they have been is crazy to me.

According to several sources, Birdman is now the proud owner of an $8 MILLION Maybach Exelero! That is like…not even remotely sensible. He’d stated last month in an interview that he wanted to cop one, and then just the other day he tweeted the above photo. However, this is just a rendering so do you think he really got it or is still saying he wants one? I truly can’t fathom spending that much on ONE vehicle!! Ugh must be nice to have this kind of money to blow….
