He brings back the roots of the genre using an upgraded Boom-Bap style and story-telling lyrics. This is his triumphant return to music after a brief hiatus. After several years of working towards mastering his sound the 23 year old artist is now ready to release his music on a major level. In less than a year T.JAY has garnished respect as an emcee that does his own thing no matter what.

The entire project is light and refreshing compared to Hip Hop played over Top 40. With Jay-Z being one of T.JAY’s biggest influences he models the tone of the project after Jay-Z’s first album Reasonable Doubt (1996, Roc-A-Fella Records). Songs range in topics such as T.JAY’s daily hustle, his interaction with fans, his love for women, and his opinion on religion, politics, and Hip Hop.
